Visible light transmission (VLT) describes how much visible light passes through. A lower VLT looks darker.

Protection you don’t see

UV filtering helps limit exposure and interior fading. Check the selected film’s UV specifications.

Heat you can feel

Ceramic film helps reduce infrared heat. Darkness alone does not tell you how much total solar heat a film rejects.
